Meet FPRA State President Julie Frey

FPRA State Board President Julie Frey will visit us to install new board members and past-presidents will pass the gavel. Julie will share her vision for FPRA and speak about FPRA’s new technology platform. Chapter awards will be announced.

FPRA President Julie Frey, APR, CPRC, is a strategic communications professional with more than 20 years of experience in higher education, nonprofit and corporate communications. As the inaugural director for the Office of Careers and Corporate Partnerships at the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications, Julie assists employers offering internships and other career opportunities in connecting with and hiring students at one of the country’s premier journalism and communications programs.

Julie received her bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Florida. She has earned both the Accreditation in Public Relations and Certified Public Relations Counselor credentials and is a graduate of LeadershipFPRA and Leadership Gainesville.
