About Local Image Awards
FPRA Image Awards recognize the best in research, strategy, implementation and execution in the public relations profession. Local Image Awards competitions are conducted in the spring at the chapter level, followed by the state-wide Golden Image Awards. To learn more about Golden Image Awards, visit the Florida Public Relations Association website.
Award Divisions
Image Awards are broken into four main divisions:
- Public Relations Programs
- Printed Tools of Public Relations
- Digital Tools of Public Relations
- Student Projects in Public Relations
Within each division are multiple categories.
Entry Format
An entry is made up of a two-page summary, any supporting documentation, a 50 word summary of your project and a brief organizational overview of your organization. The outline of the two-page summary follows the general outline of a public relations project: Research/Situation Analysis; Objectives; Implementation; Evaluation and Budget. Submissions are accepted electronically at FPRAImage.org.
Entry Fee
- Member: $35
- Non-Member: $55
- Student Member: $10
- Non-Member Student: $15
Judging Criteria
When judges review an entry, seventy percent of the score comes from the two-page summary. To help make your entry top-notch, be sure to review the judging criteria and, if you’re a member, look through past winning entries.
