Non-profits are simultaneously challenged with building awareness for their programs both with internal and external stakeholders, raising critical funds and sharing stories about the communities they serve with authenticity and respect.

In this talk, Linsey will share challenges that she has faced as Chief Development & Marketing Officer for Special Olympics Florida along with her strategies for overcoming them.

About the Presenter
Over her 10-year career with Special Olympics Florida (SOFL), Linsey Smith, has held various positions. In her current role, her focus is on changing perceptions of people with intellectual disabilities, ensuring they are represented authentically and raising funds to support the work of the organization. In 2021 under Linsey’s vision, SOFL launched the Race for Inclusion, an awareness and fundraising campaign to challenge the community to build a world of inclusion and acceptance.
