What happens when you think your communication is clear and effective, but the response tells a different story? Stephanie Madden will draw upon her experiences in business and public service to help PR and marketing professionals develop more sound messaging strategies.

About the Speaker:

Stephanie Madden is a small business owner, community volunteer and Lakeland City Commissioner.  She and her husband, Steve, started a business in their two-bedroom apartment in 1995.  Together with Steve’s Brother, Greg, and his wife Lory, they own Madden Branded Goods, a local promotional marketing company serving national clients. Stephanie is a mom to six kids, and one daughter-in-law, and has recently added grandmother to her titles. 

Stephanie is a Past President and 22-year member of the Junior League, a graduate of Leadership Lakeland Class XXII, and her board service includes: Lighthouse Ministries, Success by 6, Young Life Polk County, Lakeland Assemblies Cotillion Club, Lakeland Lacrosse, Lakeland High School’s PTP (Go Dreadnaughts!), Central Florida’s Tourist Development Council, Lakeland Vision, Lakeland’s CRA-Community Redevelopment Agency and Lakeland Sister Cities. 

She currently serves on SEU’s National Leadership Forum O2 committee, the Mayor’s Council for the Arts, The City’s Gang Taskforce and the Lakeland Linder International Airport Master Plan committee. She is a Daughter of the American Revolution and she and her family attend Grace City Church. In her spare time, she is an oil painter and art enthusiast.
