Hurricane Irma may have brought bleak weather, but it was the time to shine for PR professionals as they relayed important information to the community. At the September 20, 2017 meeting of Dick Pope/Polk County chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association, members participated in a group discussion about effective communication tactics throughout the storm and how to fine tuning a crisis communication plan.
